I've finally finished this challenge! Never thought it'll be so hard to do :/
I got lazy and just did a bunch of them in one go XD
I was taking a look at some other people's answers for this challenge...
I found it funny how every question was BIG BANG orientated.
I know that everyone around me knows that I'm a dedicated DBSK fan...
so I wanted to post some different artists...despite them being my other biases ^^

This is the only song I can think of right now...I'm sure there are others though XD

PARK HYO SHIN - Listen (Beyonce Cover)
A wonderful song. I'm still in love with this song till this day.
But...having a male sing it just makes it even better.
His voice is just so beautiful.
I think I've run out of words to describe my love for his voice...
Simply amazing. AMAZING!!!~



JUNSU - My Everything
This man can sing in any language he wants, have crap
pronunciation, be a total FOB and I'll still listen to him sing.
I wish I can see him on stage on day...

DANCE BATTLE: SHINHWA vs SE7EN
Took me a while to find it, but here it is~
The quality isn't that great...
but when I first got into KPOP, I remember how awed I was by this.
I think it was this dance battle ^^"



Dance Battle: ZE:A vs BEAST
So...this isn't my favourite, but one of the most recent ones I've watched ;D



Dance Battle: Battle of the Princesses
(Seriously, this was what it was called...if I remembered right)
This may not be my most favourite dance battle, but it sure is one of the most memorable.
I watched it because of KARA, Wonder Girls, SNSD and Black Pearl.
My sister watched it for her Kim Bum XD
I'm pretty sure they had debutted in the same year (2007) at around the same time.
As a fan of KARA back then, I felt so bad for them. I don't remember why anymore...but its probably due to the difference in popularity.
Wonder Girls and SNSD has always been popular, it wasn't until recently that KARA shone.
Black Pearl suffered the most. I always considered them more of a ballad group...so for them to do a dance battle was kind of... ehhh?

26 | your favorite cover of a k-pop song by another k-pop artist

PARK HYO SHIN - Look Only At Me
I've always liked the song orginally sang by Taeyang, but when Park Hyo Shin sang it... DAMN. HAHAHA.
Sorry, it's not that I'm biased, but it was so different and refreshing to hear him cover the song.
I became so obessed over his cover that I ripped it from the video and it was on repeat
for days on end. I still love it to bits. Awesome performance from my bias :D

P.S: I can only remember two of the "back up" singers in the back - Lyn and Wheesung.

ERU - White Snow
I love this song and the music video is simply adorable.
The first time I saw it in year 8/9, I fell in love.
With Eru, with the storyline, with the piano, with his voice.
But what really sealed the deal was the snow.
Although I've got to admit, there were some weird scenes...



KIM BUM SOO - Forgetting the Regrets
Such a beautiful song.
Although the MV may not be the most beautiful - in terms of actors and scenery -
but the raw emotions of the actors was just....WOW.
The scene where both start to cry, I had shivers down my spine... ^^"



UNTOUCHABLE - Tell Me Why
This was one of the songs that stood out to me the most from their first album...
it's also because I couldn't find any other subbed videos by them back then.
HAHAHA.
Anyways, the music is great and the video had me at the edge of my seat the
first time I saw it. The storyline still confuses me a bit...but I'll let that pass...



WHEESUNG - Fading Star
What more can I ask for?
Adorable Wheesung and gorgeous looking Hyori.
It's been a while since I've watched the MV, but there was a part that just killed me.
I never knew how much Wheesung's voice could affect me until then...

24 | a picture of a k-pop idol who you think is overrated

I don't like to think that a group is overrated. I try to think of all the hard work that they put in to achieve their goals. But there comes a time when a group's activities is just over hyped. Maybe its because the fans have so much expectation that when the group releases something...its really, underwhelming.

The first name that came to find was

2NE1

I was quite excited for their debut. Park Bom was officially debuting! And well, being labeled as the "female" version of Big Bang was a good thing, no? After all, The Grace didn't disappoint with their label as the "female" version of DBSK.

But anyway, they had a fairly good debut. I thought it was good, but not something outstanding like OHEMGEE, THEY ARE TOTALLY AWEEEEEEESOME. Their following releases were met with high enthusiasm, that it was sure to top the charts etc. But really, the song was really really....weird. Maybe weird isn't the right word to describe it, but it was underwhelming.

I expected more, but they didn't deliver. However, what I really dislike is how every girl group is being compared to them. Comments such as "2NE1 could have done much better", "2NE1 copycat", "Those girl groups ain't nothing against 2NE1" etc etc. 2NE1 aren't the first to do a concept, nor will they be the last.

Gah, I have no words right now...still hung over LB. I NEED MORE BOE DRUGS!

Hm, I guess this would go to Supernova and Children of Empire.

Supernova was just awesomely epic when they debuted, but they left to venture into the Japanese market. I didn't know why Korea didn't adore them like I did..HAHA. But all is fine because they're finally getting the attention that they need.

Children of Empire are still quite young, so yeah.


Special mention to D-NA.
I think they have quite nice vocals.
All they need is practice practice practice to
have solid vocals and more love from Korea.
Stupid reporters need to keep saying they're the next "DBSK".

I couldn't find the picture I wanted of SE7EN, so I started looking for Minwoo.
Couldn't find it either so I'm just gonna post this one instead.



And just because I can, I want to add a picture of Chae Dong Ha.
I feel like he's disappeared or something :(
I miss listening to his voice.
So beautiful and soulful.

Sorry man, I can't seem to find it.

But the interview is of DBSK back in around 2006/2007.

They were just so adorable as they teased Junsu, questioned him on his English skills, started hitting each other and just being dorks. Despite their success at that time, they were still very humble. Appreciating every opportunity and every fan that has helped them achieve their success. I remember being awed and just admiring them.
