Somewhere out there,
Beneath the pale moonlight,
Someone's thinking of me,
And loving me tonight.
Somewhere out there,
Someone's saying a prayer,
That we'll find one another,
In that big somewhere out there.
And even though I know how very far apart we are,
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star,
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby,
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky!
Somewhere out there,
If love can see us through,
Then we'll be together,
Somewhere out there,
Out where dreams
Come true...
I've got very fond memories attached to this song. In year 3, the choir (which I was apart of) sang this song for a competition. We travelled for about 4 hours from Albany to Perth. The bus had its quirks, like an awesome TV :D, but it was hanging out with my friends that was best. It's been 8 years since I've last seen them...I wonder how they're going.
I've thought about stalking them on Facebook.. HAHA..but remembered that the Internet may not be...errr...highly accessible? I don't think most people in Albany use the Internet. Heck, I only found out what it was when I came back to Melbourne. I remember we used to just go to the beach, go to people's houses, play cricket, go fishing etc. Typically Aussie stuff :D
But yeah..I love this song.
